Our decision to begin sponsorship of local League One team Portsmouth was an easy one to make for Directors Nick and Matt. Based in the iconic city tourist destination Gunwharf Quays, we knew it was vital to be involved with the club and the work they do for the Portsmouth community.
Their continued support of the local area, including the development of Pompey Women and Academy teams, was something we admired. Our main focus going into the partnership was ensuring we’re doing everything we can to support these efforts and help get all Pompey sides back to where they belong.
Moving forward, clear progression is in sight both on and off the pitch for the blues and like Pompey, we’re focusing our efforts on sustainability and development in the local community.
Eco-friendly product offerings have given our customers the ability to be environmentally conscious, improving sustainability in the construction industry and reducing the impact on local environments.
In the coming days, we’ll be host to 4 of Portsmouth’s Academy players looking to further their career development with work experience in a local business. With roles in Finance, Marketing and Account Management on offer, we’re hoping to make this a regular occurrence and continue our support of the club and their developing teams.
Our friends at Dawson Levy Resourcing will also be hosting some of PFC’s Academy players at our office in Gunwharf Quays. This is a great opportunity for the players to experience a wide variety of roles in various industries.
